On Friday 26th August 2016, the Community Engagement Topic Support Network met to explore the use and value of mapping ways to engage with sustainability in and around universities and colleges.

During the morning session, the RADIAL project from Glasgow School of Art shared details of their ongoing Zero Waste Map project of Glasgow, attendees had the opportunity to explore how they would map sustainability at the University of Dundee, the Place Standard Tool was introduced, and attendees discussed their own mapping projects.

The afternoon session introduced OpenStreetMap through a computer-based training session, led by Trudy Cunningham from the University of Dundee.
