Sector-led projects

Between 2010 and 2013, LSIS has provided grants to support 63 projects which aim to develop, embed and disseminate effective approaches to sustainable development.

Each of these projects has developed a case study and, in many cases, resources and tools, which are now available for other providers to access, adopt, adapt and learn from, free of charge.

Below you can find details of the Enfield Adult Education Service project, with links to pages showcasing their case study and any associated resources that have been developed by or collated by them.  Please feel free to download, use and adapt these resources - while acknowledging the authors - and to contact and engage with Enfield Adult Education Service to find out more. Contact details are provided within the case study.

Enfield Adult Education Service - Sustaining Circles

This project set up and supported the development of Learning Circles as a focal point for community action, focusing on active learning about sustainability.  It aimed to seed the creation of a culture of sustainability as a core principle for community-based, active learning in a self-perpetuating environment.
