Engaging with Data: How the Higher Education sector can use data to drive engagement

28th Jun 2017 09:30 – 12:30

The data revolution is upon us! With recent developments in technology there is an abundance of data available from energy, carbon and sustainability initiatives. And yet, with data so readily available there is little knowledge on how to make best use of it in engagement programmes to leverage long-term impact.

Carbon Credentials are pleased to announce Engaging with Data: How the Higher Education sector can use data to drive engagement to be held on Wednesday 28th June. This event is specifically aimed at the Higher Education sector and will explore how Universities and Colleges can use their sustainability and building management data to better engage with staff and students.

The key objectives for the event will be:

What data exists and what it can tell you
How data can be used to drive a University’s engagement programme
Why now is the correct time to delve deeper into your data

Joining to share their experiences of data and engagement will be James Whittingham, Sustainability Manager at London South Bank University.

The event will be a workshop format so there will be much discussion about the topics at hand.  Please use this opportunity to bring any questions, challenges, success stories and opinions you have to share and discuss among your peers.
