Exploring barriers and motivations to change (exchange)

20th Feb 2013 – 20th Feb 2014 12:00 – 13:00

A short talk which explored the barriers/motivations to change and the importance of understanding the target audience before embarking on any sustainability behaviour change campaign. The session also provided inspiring examples from other organisations which have successfully changed behaviour by finding imaginative ways to engage employees on sustainability.

This webinar was chosen via a survey conducted by the Positive Attitudes and Behaviours Community of Practice (COP) for behaviour change. This COP is open to all EAUC Members interested in learning and sharing experiences in the field of behaviour and attitudes.

This was a live webinar hosted by the Sustainability Exchange and took place on the 20th February 2013 between 12.00pm - 1.00pm. The webinar was recorded and the presentation and a number of other resources was made available, which you will be able to find below.

The presentation lasted for 35 minutes and was followed by 5 minutes of questions.

It was presented by Gavin Ellis from Global Action Plan (GAP) which is an independent environmental charity and one of the UK’s leading behaviour change organisations.

Global Action Plan’s current clients include Open University and Bloomsbury Colleges.
