Top five ways to get involved

This is an example of how to create competition, through Green Week, to promote sustainability throughout your institution. You can download the poster that was used in the college as well as a list of the top five ways to get involved in Green Week.

Top five ways to get involved at Green Week:

1. Green Week Fairs
Exhibitors include:
Catering students – bake sale
Beauty students – natural beauty treatments and products
Childhood Studies students – green stall and freebies
Smoothie bike challenge
Traidcraft stall
Volunteer opportunities
Students’ Union Fairtrade stall
Plus much more!

2. Clothing Appeal – spring clean your wardrobe!
The College is working with Trinity Hospice to collect your unwanted clothing items. We are inviting all staff and students to donate clean clothing and accessories. Donation bins will be available in reception areas.

3. Fairtrade Food
Why not try the Fairtrade themed menu at the College’s own Level 6 Restaurant?

4. #SelfieCompetition
Take part in the ‘for the love of’ #selfie competition

5. Love Food… Hate Waste
Catering will be promoting Fairtrade Fortnight and The National Love Food Hate Waste Campaign.
