Project: Telecom Bretagne and sustainable development, a commitment since 2006

For nearly 10 years, Telecom Bretagne has had a "step by step" approach that has proven very effective in terms of sustainable development and territorial roots. Aware of its exemplary value, the establishment has developed strategy in terms of commitments, education, student involvement, research and innovation, and was rewarded by the QUESTE-IF Award awarded by the European Commission 2013. Telecom Bretagne is a founding member of the network CHEDD Britain (College of Higher Education for Sustainable Development), developed in 2010 at the initiative of the General Council and in partnership with six colleges: ENIB (National Engineering School of Brest) , the Naval School, ENSTA Bretagne, the University of Western Brittany, ESC Rennes School of Business, EME (School of Environmental Trades), EHESP (School of Advanced Studies in Public Health ), Rennes and ENS Agrocampus. The college promotes openness through an exchange platform between companies, public institutions, communities, professionals and voluntary movements. It led the launch of a Specialized Master EMR (Marine Renewable Energies) in 2013. Telecom Bretagne held a public forum entitled "Issues of the world and challenges for sustainable development" which featured projects of engineering students, a high impact local partnership.
