New Sulitest Module on the Sustainable Development Goals

1st June 2017

In September 2015, the 193 UN member states adopted the roadmap for 2030: 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For the next 15 years, organizations and citizens have been called upon to "mobilize their efforts to end all forms of poverty, address inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind." Collaboratively, involving all stakeholders, these SDGs are currently becoming a focus in many companies and corporate networks (Global Compact , WBCSD, C3D…) public organizations, NGOs (AFD, comité 21), and reporting organizations (GRI). The academic world (PRME, IAU, GRLI or EFMD) is also examining how to integrate them into this collective roadmap for change at the international level. EAUC also recently led a consultation on a possible initiative for a SDG charter initiative.

From the beginning, Sulitest has been committed to supporting SDGs. It has also been recognized as one of the 17 featured initiatives in the UN Partnership for SDGs. Each Sulitest question is aligned with one or more of the relevant SDGs, thus creating the largest database on citizens' understanding and commitment to SDGs. Last October, the UN’s Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN-DESA) signed a partnership with Sulitest to make it one of the tools for measuring and monitoring SDGs.

A Sulitest module of specific questions made by UN-DESA on the SDG process has just been made available for universities all over the world. To invite your students, create a new session and add the "UN DESA SDGs Module" as a specialized module. This module is currently available in English and French, If you would like to help us translate it, please click here.
