British Gas case study - Toyota building integrated Solar PV

In parallel with the solar field installation project at Toyota’s Burnaston plant, British Gas Solar installed a number of building integrated PV systems. These installations which provide a showcase to visitors to the plant included:

  • 26.5 kWp Brise Soleil using standard modules
  • 12.4 kWp PV glass Curtain wall to main staircase
  • 7.5 kWp PV glass electric vehicle canopy

British Gas undertook the complete design and installation of these bespoke systems, including specification of the bespoke glass-glass PV laminates, and design of the structural elements.
