2 Workshops on "Embedding Sustainability into Teaching, Learning and the Curriculum"
5th Dec 2013 – 23rd Jan 2014 00:00
Two workshops based on the LSIS research report on
“Embedding Sustainability into Teaching, Learning and the Curriculum” which was written by
Andrea Gewessler &
Kirsti Norris and was published at the end of July 2013.
Each workshop is a two-day event and you are welcome to come for day 1 or day 2, although we believe it will be more beneficial to attend both.
The first day, 10am - 5pm of both events is about
understanding the findings of the research report better and relate them to future outcomes for your students and the second day, a half-day from 10am - 2.30pm, will
build on the findings of the first and be an opportunity to creatively explore next steps around the working question of “How to future proof student outcomes for the 21st century?”
During the two days, we will explore what education for sustainability means for your organisation, as well as suggesting what we think would be sensible next steps for a learning organisation.
There is a choice of locations and dates
1. Morley College, London - 5 and 6 December 2013
2. City College Plymouth - 22 and 23 January 2014
