2013 Carbon Trust Public Sector Carbon Management Event
13th Feb 2013 12:00 – 16:30
Wednesday 13th February 2013,
12 noon – 4:30pm
The Carbon Trust would like to invite you to this year’s Public Sector Carbon Management Conference, which will take place on 13th February 2013 at the University of London’s Senate House in central London. Over 550 organisations have now worked with us on our public sector programmes, helping to identify carbon savings of over 93m tonnes and net cost savings of over £2.6 billion. We are keen to maintain progress, and are currently working with dozens more public bodies to help them manage carbon and the associated risks.
We know how much you value the opportunity to exchange best practice and, as economic conditions continue to be very challenging, it remains critical that we work together to achieve the best possible carbon impact for limited public funds. This event will enable you to learn about the latest thinking and support to reduce emissions, and to exchange ideas with like-minded colleagues from a broad range of public sector groups. We are pleased to announce that the opening address will be by David Kennedy, Chief Executive of the Committee on Climate Change (CCC). To find out more about the CCC please visit here:
