There and Back Again: Experiences of GoGreen and Green Impact
17th Jan 2014 14:00 – 17:15
Come and join us to celebrate the return of Green Impact to the University of Bristol after its journey across the country to Cambridge. In its latest incarnation this project became GoGreen Pilot’12, a collaborative teaching & learning project aimed at improving students’ employability.
The project was led by Anglia Ruskin University in collaboration with University of Bristol and the National Union of Students. It involved local organisations and communities, committed to improving environmental practices and creating a passion for sustainability.
Why should you come? To learn about an example of
• a successful collaborative project.
• a project committed to making action learning work – a methodology appropriate to Education for Sustainable Development initiatives.
• researching an action learning project with a view to publication.
• the influence of Bristol spreading beyond the university and therefore a good impact case study in disseminating both ideas and practice.
• of a wide range of skills and techniques useful to teachers (and action researchers) applying for grants.
