The event also includes a large trade exhibition and we are pleased to announce that we have 38 confirmed exhibitors for the event.
If you would like to see which exhibitors have already booked to attend the event then please visit the conference website at the link below and click on the exhibition information tab.
We will be hosting a quiz linked to the exhibition this year allowing delegates to win £750 in vouchers towards a short break or holiday. (keep checking the website for further details)
The conference will also include excursions on the Wednesday afternoon with a choice from Behind the Scenes look at Alton Towers, to visiting the Wedgwood Factory or the National Brewery in Burton on Trent. Please note that there are limited places on some of the trips and so a first come first served approach is being adopted. The Alton Towers trip is already proving a popular choice so book early to avoid disappointment.
The social programme this year will commence with an official opening of the trade exhibition and drinks reception on the Wednesday evening, followed by a 3 course buffet dinner, some magical entertainment and a night at the races. The Annual Conference Dinner this year will be held on the Thursday evening in the Grandeur of Keele Hall, which is a grade two listed manor house situated within the University grounds. The evening will commence with a champagne drinks reception in the Salvin Suite, followed by a Staffordshire Themed dinner in the Ballroom, and we are pleased to announce that our after dinner speaker this year will be Gordon Banks O.B.E.. The evening will then continue with Casino tables and late bar.
We are pleased to announce that the conference this year will be supporting the
Douglas Macmillan Hospice which provide fantastic support for people diagnosed with cancer in the North Staffordshire area and donation buckets will be on display in the bar areas for both the Wednesday and Thursday evening.
