Best Practice Lab Ventilation - Free event

10th Oct 2011 09:04

An a.m. masterclass and p.m. workshop on lab ventilation with experts from US and UK.

This day comprises two separate sessions, which can be booked together, or separately. Both feature Gordon Sharp a world expert in energy efficient laboratory ventilation through his pro bono work with the ASHRAE (a US body similar to CIBSE) and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL - organisers of the Labs21 conference and workshops) organisations, and his career as CEO of Phoenix and, latterly, Chairman of Aircuity, Inc. The morning is a masterclass based on one which Gordon has given under I2SL auspices in North America and Asia, slightly adapted for UK circumstances. The afternoon is a workshop with additional presentations on sustainable laboraotry initiatives at the Institute of Cancer Research (the hosts), continuous ventilation commissioning at Imperial College, and effective ventilation design processes and rightsaving by Mike Dockery.
