BSI & EAUC - target setting on the Journey to net zero - Surgery Session

Through partnership, EAUC and BSI have the following aim:

To address carbon reductions through to net zero credibly for the education sector through a standardised approach to developing Science-Based targets, and to verification and validation to ensure accuracy and transparency, through 

  • introduction to BSI’s science aligned net zero framework, to drive target setting and reductions (based on data verification and IWA42 Guidelines)
  • roll-out and use of BSI's framework by EAUC members and signatories of the Race to Zero for Universities and Colleges
  • annual audit to ensure satisfactory progress and that Net Zero timeline is not missed
