The event will show how universities have a real opportunity to exploit the concept of buildings as material banks, and show the value of this to university estates departments, design teams, student populations and wider stakeholders. It will explore the relationship between circularity and whole life carbon assessments, and demonstrate how circular thinking and reuse can help reduce carbon emissions, improve resource efficiency and provide more adaptable and resilient buildings.
