Mobilizing Sustainability in Education Policy, Practice, and Research
Hosted by the
Sustainability Education Research Institute and the Sustainability and Education Policy Network, Connecting Education and Environment will focus on land, place, environment, and sustainability and connections to education policy, practice, and research. Four concurrent strands of interactive sessions in:
•K-12 education
•Higher education
•Community education
•Indigenous education
The event will be of broad interest to policy makers, administrators, educators, students, sustainability staff, organizations, researchers, and communities.
Admission*
•General admission: $50
•Student admission: $20
Registration deadline: May 31, 2016
*Includes morning and afternoon refreshments and lunch. We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Details
•June 10: Pre-conference sessions aimed at policy-makers, researchers, and educators at K-12 and higher education levels. Extra costs may apply for some pre-conference workshops.
•June 11: Main conference day with keynotes and speakers including Manulani Meyer, Gerald Farthing, Arjen Wals, Tarah Wright, Mark Rickinson, Erika Shaker, Alan Reid, Alex Wilson, Stephen Sterling, and many more.
