Join our Office Bearer Group!

EAUC-Scotland now has two vacancies to join the Office Bearer Group (OBG). We have one college and one university position to fill on the Group to help us support you and your colleagues across Scotland.

The Scotland Office Bearer Group (OBG) contributes to the development of the strategy and vision for EAUC-Scotland and helps steer the delivery of activity outlined in our Outcome Agreement with the Scottish Funding Council.

The OBG’s aims and objectives are to:
  • Provide added value to the core activities of the EAUC by providing a regional focus that is specific to Scotland;
  • Encourage and support sustainable development, environmental performance and social responsibility throughout the Further and Higher Education sectors in Scotland;
  • Provide a specialist focus on relevant issues by facilitating the exchange of information and the dissemination of best practice informed by those specific Scottish issues;
  • Offer guidance and support to the EAUC-Scotland Office in implementing the EAUC-Scotland Strategic Plan and the broader EAUC UK Strategic Plan;
  • Report, via the EAUC-Scotland Convenor, to the EAUC Board of Trustees on EAUC-Scotland activities.

The EAUC-Scotland OBG and Forum is fully integrated within and bound by the Constitution and Articles of Association of the Environmental Association for Universities & Colleges (EAUC).

Applicants must be an EAUC Educational Member and have a passion for and commitment to our Vision and Mission. The OBG meet with the EAUC-Scotland Team every 6-8 weeks, either in person or electronically depending on the location and other commitments of the four members.

If you are interested in applying, please fill in the application form linked below. Closing date is 25 February 2015 and voting will take place at the AGM. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
