EAUC Facilitated Member Discussion on Carbon Reduction Ranking by SOS-UK - Wales Focus

EAUC are facilitating an opportunity for Members to have an opportunity to input into a new university & college Carbon Reduction Targets Ranking that Students Organising for Sustainability UK will be launching in September.

This event is open for all EAUC Educational Members in Wales. A Scotland specific event has already taken place. A UK wide event is taking place on 9th September. 

We will hear from Melanie Kee from SOS-UK (Campaign Manager) who will provide an overview of their project:

The SOS-UK statement of expectation that all UK universities and colleges publicly commit to being net-zero carbon for scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2035
The methodology underlying the carbon reduction targets league table

A questions and discussion session will follow for members to input prior to the launch of the ranking by SOS-UK.

Please note that this event is facilitated by EAUC to provide our members an opportunity to input into this new ranking. The new ranking is from SOS-UK and not from EAUC.
