EAUC Scotland Aberdeenshire and North-East Regional Meet-Up

The next EAUC Scotland Aberdeenshire and North-East regional meet up will take place on 16 September from 12-5pm. This event is kindly being hosted by SRUC. 

The meet-up is an opportunity for sector staff based within the Aberdeenshire and North-East region and engaged with or interested in sustainability to connect/re-connect with local sector colleagues, share ideas and experiences, and explore local opportunities for collaboration.

Agenda:

• 12pm: teas, coffees and light lunch
• 12:30pm: Introduction to SRUC's Climate Change Action Plan, sustainable travel framework, biodiversity strategy and waste management plan
• 1pm: Sustainable agriculture and the Craibstone botany garden
• 1:30pm: Introduction to beekeeping and the new campus colony
• 2pm: Craibstone Campus biodiversity projects - the "Wee Forest" project, Savings Scotland's Red Squirrel project and the National Hedgehog Monitoring Programme
• 3pm: Break
• 3:15pm: "ONE Seedpod" tour (Northeast Food and Drinks Industry Innovation Hub)
• 4:30pm: SRUC's Animal Care Unit
• 4:45pm: Close
