Education for Sustainable Development Topic Support Network

The QAA and Advance HE are currently consulting on the revised Education for Sustainable Development Guidance for UK higher education providers. The revised guidance is intended to help higher education providers design education for sustainable development into their curricula and wider student experience.

The purpose of this session will be to introduce and explain these proposals in order to develop a collective sector response.

The guidance is intended to complement the UK Quality Code for Higher Education although it does not form an explicit part of it. In revising the guidance, QAA and Advance HE have worked with an expert advisory group drawn from, and acting on behalf of, the higher education, student and business community.

This period of consultation allows us to gather the views of a broad audience interested in ESD.
