ESDGC in FE - Free Training and Information Events

Organised by regional sustainability specialists Ymlaen Ceredigion
in partnership with the Centre for Alternative Technology and The National Botanic Gardens of Wales.

Aim of the day:
An opportunity to gather information and ideas on ESDGC and how FE can integrate it into specific curriculum areas. The day will include: Case studies on existing work in colleges, an opportunity to find out about resources and contacts relevant to specific courses, the opportunity to explore and hear from a key Welsh ESDGC education centre (either Centre for Alternative Technology or Botanic Gardens) and regional sustainability experts Ymlaen Ceredigion.

Who should come:
FE lecturers, ESDGC champions, trainers working in FE, anyone responsible for working on ESDGC in FE colleges.

Cost:
Absolutely free, includes lunch and light refreshments. The event is funded through DFID as part of the SUSGILS project which is based in Coleg Ceredigion but has wider aims to support colleges in Wales to embed sustainability into its curriculum through events such as these.
