CALL FOR PAPERS

The aims of EURO-ENVIROENERGY 2016 are as follows:

i. to provide universities, researchers but also cities and municipalities with an opportunity to present their works in the field of energy and environmental  technologies;

ii. to foster the exchange of information, ideas and experiences acquired in the execution of their own research and projects on energy and environmental technologies, showing successful initiatives and good practice;

iii. to discuss methodological approaches and projects which aim to integrate the topics of energy and environmental technologies, as well sustainable development more closely;

iv. to network the participants and provide a platform so they can explore possibilities for cooperation.

Last but not least, a further aim of the event will be to document and disseminate the wealth of experiences available today. To this purpose, the book “Towards a Circular Economy: the role of energy and environmental technologies” will be published, with all accepted papers.

The book will be part of the “World Sustainability Series” published with Springer (https://www.springer.com/series/13384), one of the world´s top five scientific publishers. The book will document and disseminate the excellent works performed by the authors and speakers attending the event. It will be fully indexed, and the publication of book chapters in this peer-re- viewed series officially count for the purposes of both academic output and promotion prospects of the authors.
