Funding for composting/waste facilities - The Composting Association
11th Mar – 12th Mar 2008 00:00
The Composting Association will be organising a one day seminar on the 11th March 2008 at Pera Innovation Park, Melton Mowbray. This seminar will provide delegates from this expanding area of the waste management industry with an opportunity to find out what funding is currently available, both from a local perspective through national schemes such as the Remade programs and also at a European level through the Framework 7 initiative, which will make £ 52 billion available for small and medium-sized enterprises and also larger companies for development via innovation.
This event, which is kindly being hosted by the research and technology development network Pera, will be suitable for site operators of all sizes and will also provide participants with the opportunity to meet the speakers and discuss individual cases on a one to one basis after the presentations.
With operators facing continued pressure on costs, the chance to tap into these funding initiatives and finance support programmes should provide a 'breath of fresh air' at a time of significant fiscal pressure. This event will provide practical assistance to companies looking to expand or develop their business and will also provide delegates the opportunity to visit a number of exhibitors.
Speaker details are yet to be confirmed, but will include Pera, WRAP, UK Remade, Nationwide Corporate Finance plc, Advantage Business Angels plus a venture capital company and a bank.
