Future Earth Seminar with Professor Tim O’Riordan

UNU RCE Severn is delighted to invite you to an exciting seminar with opinion leader in sustainability, Professor Tim O’Riordan of the University of East Anglia. We are delighted to welcome Prof O’Riordan, who is Emeritus Professor of Environmental Sciences and has been active in leadership, research and change for sustainability for many years, through the UK Sustainable Development Commission, as author of key texts in the field, through international research initiatives and by contributing to projects such as the Cambridge Programme on Sustainability Leadership.

The seminar “Future Earth: Implications for Sustainability Learning” will explore the potential for stronger partnerships for education and learning in sustainability. Tim will be discussing the International Council for Science’s 10 year Future Earth initiative that is mobilizing thousands of scientists worldwide, to improve the knowledge and learning base to support global transformation towards sustainability.
