S-Lab in collaboartion with the University of Edinburgh and Scottish Funding Council.

Financial and other pressures require universities and colleges to improve efficiency and effectiveness. As laboratories are some of their most expensive operations, this requires change in their design and operation.

Who Should Attend

This free workshop for technical and research staff highlights opportunities to enhance operating practices with regard to resource consumption (chemicals, consumables, energy, water etc.). It will focus on ‘win win’ measures which are compatible with – and help to support - Good Laboratory Practice and Health and Safety requirements.
