Higher Education Biomass Workshop

An invitation to a Carbon Trust sponsored workshop focusing on how the Higher Education Sector can take full commercial advantage of the forthcoming Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) with a modern, technically mature and low-carbon renewable energy technology which is highly suited to most HEI’s estates: biomass heating.

The workshop will cover:

- The RHI in detail (including an eligibility “checklist”)
- Best practice in fuel supply management
- Health & safety for biomass systems
- The QMUC biomass experience – successes and lessons learned
- Experiences from other Higher Education Institutions’ biomass experiences
