How to Dress as a Rabbit to Win Awards (Green Gown Awards Webinar)

10th Jul 2014 12:00 – 13:00

How to Dress as a Rabbit to Win Awards (Creating short Award Entry Films on a Shoestring)

How to create a short film to accompany a Green Gown Award bid with no budget, limited time and no media qualifications.

Why should I attend?
Applicants are often put off from entering a Green Gown Award as they think you need a large budget and lots of time to create the accompanying film. Here is how Walsall College SU put together short films with no budget, no actors (other than willing staff and students) and a tight deadline for Green Gown, NUS Awards and others.

I will discuss how to get footage, edit it and add sound, special FX, etc. and publish the finished article.

Who is this webinar for?
Anyone at a College or University who is thinking of entering the Green Gown awards and needs to create an accompanying film.

Speaker:
Colin Sherlock, Student Experience Officer, Walsall College Students' Union.
