The University of Nottingham will be completing the GlaxoSmithKline Carbon Neutral Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry on its Jubilee Campus in summer 2016. It is remarkable not only for its sustainability features but also because of its innovative approaches to science teaching and research. The S-Lab Laboratory Design and Services conference will be held at the Campus on Sept 21, and will combine a) content on, and tours of, the laboratory and other Nottingham developments with b) showcasing lab projects in other organisations plus best approaches to building management, sustainability, ventilation and other features. Booking will open in February.
