Carbon Management has become one of the defining issues of the 21st century. Increasing organisations are under pressure to demonstrate that they are taking their environmental responsibilities seriously. Our informative course provides delegates with the ability to plan a low carbon future using Carbon Management techniques in combination with Prince 2 Project Management Methodology (to Foundation Level).
Duration
The course is usually delivered as two days guided study. The recommended hours for self study is 40 hours collectively.
Delegate Profile
Our short course equips delegates and organisations’ employees with the core knowledge, understanding and skills needed to develop and implement a robust carbon management strategy within their own organisation. It provides an overview in understanding the impacts of climate change and carbon reduction strategies for organisations and markets. Delegates should normally be
qualified to Level 3 i.e. A Level, NVQ 3 or equivilient or have relevant experience.
Course Objectives
By completing this course delegates will:
- Understand the main issues of climate change and the way that the world, the EU and the UKhave responded
- Be able to begin to assess the impact on their business and be aware of the initiatives they can implement to reduce the impact
- Be better informed and able to make thorough decisions
- Understand Prince 2 to Foundation Level
