Socially & Environmentally Sustainable Refurb & the Mackintosh Building: Construction TSN

Our Sustainable Construction TSN Group will be visiting Glasgow School of Art for a tour of the Mackintosh Building and discussions on the low carbon refurbishment of historic buildings.

The event will involve a discussion and tour of the building, which is currently under refurbishment following a devastating fire. We will enjoy a talk from Professor Colin Porteous on Low Carbon Retrofit, and there will be time to discuss your own retrofit projects. We will be discussing both carbon/energy-focused projects and those working to protect cultural heritage.
