Description:
The purpose of the regional event is to establish a network of FE practitioners that, through collaboration, can support and reinforce the sustainable development agenda in the region. The event will also feature inputs from Energywise and Co2 Sense as well as a virtual tour of Settle Hydro. Small group work will enable delegates to share existing SD experience and practice – and explore common priorities. Information from the Excellence Gateway and introduction/familiarisation with LSIS SD resources will be a central component of the session.
Who Should Attend:
This event is for anyone in the FE world interested in the sustainable development agenda – carbon reduction, climate change, microgeneration projects, renewable energy, new construction techniques etc and the FE and skills role in this area. Governors, managers, teachers, estate officers – all staff that run FE institutions will find this an interesting and challenging day.
