Maximising Data Centre Efficiency

 The event will provide an opportunity for you to:

• Gain a better understanding of how to reduce the energy consumption, CO2 emissions and costs of your Data Centre by hearing first hand from those who done this.

• Learn about maximising your Data Centre’s storage capacity and how  to implement the EU Code of Conduct guidelines at your institution.
   

• Network with peers from other universities and colleges who are also concerned about other ICT related energy issues and learn from institutions that have been successful in greening their ICT systems.
   

• Hear from JISC Greening of ICT project managers, whose research is changing the way that institutions manage and store data.
   

• Meet with other SUSTE-TECH project participants and find out what ICT related problems you have in common, and how to tackle them.
