Staying inspired in challenging times (exchange)

18th Sep – 18th Aug 2013 12:00 – 12:50

LiFE Framework: Learning, Teaching and Research

Speaker: Kirsti Norris

The role of the sustainability practitioner, champion, change agent or leader - however we describe ourselves - is essential, yet challenging on a daily basis.  We are aware of the enormity of the issues, and yet we receive regular knock-backs.  With frequent bouts of frustration, anger, confusion, overwhelm, and sometimes just numbness, how do we keep motivated, and “sell the sizzle” without burning out?

This webinar will offer you some skills to do this.  The webinar will be facilitated by Kirsti Norris from Action for Sustainability Ltd.  Kirsti has trained in delivering the Work That Reconnects, the inspiring empowerment approach developed by Joanna Macy, on which this webinar is based.
