This conference is about ensuring that sustainability issues are at the core of the curriculum and within estate plans. This is your opportunity to learn from others, hear industry expertise and network with colleagues across different disciplines.

Our key focus of the day will be how Colleges are engaging learners in the importance of Sustainable Skills for Employability and also highlight the successful career paths provided by sustainability and environmental skills.
There will be inputs from key note speakers, workshops and time for debate and discussion.
This conference is being held in the
Think Low Carbon Centre. There will be time to tour this centre which demonstrates how technology and techniques are used to create this innovative low carbon and sustainable facility.
With our partners, social enterprise organisation, 4 All of Us, we will also be creating a sustainable legacy fund via the conference. This fund will be used to support innovative practice in Colleges and groups demonstrating sustainability within further education.
The Conference will showcase best practice from Colleges’ success in engaging learners in the importance of Sustainable Skills for Employability. We will highlight the successful career paths provided by sustainability and environmental skills and hear from key national figures on how they have embedded Sustainability in their Organisations.
You will hear from SD experts from colleges around the country on different approaches to the SD agenda.
