Sustainable Transport Forum

30th Nov 2010 09:30 – 15:30

Getting There - exploring challenges, opportunities and best practice in higher and further education

Are you interested in:
• Reducing the carbon footprint of transport activities in your institution?
• Improving your knowledge of innovations and best practice in sustainable transport?
• Developing and implementing a sustainable travel action plan?

This national forum will look at the progress being made in introducing sustainable transport solutions in higher and further education and will showcase good practice examples designed to encourage staff and students to travel more sustainably. Involving speakers from a range of leading-edge universities and colleges, this event aims to share valuable experiences in this field to assist institutions in drawing up their own action plans and reducing the impacts of travel.

The event is the second in a series of national forums organised by UoG and RCE Severn to tackle key sustainability issues in the HE and FE sector, and it involves a number of speakers from the RCE Severn network.

Please RSVP by 22 November to Ms Seek Pang, email [email protected]. Cost – £45 per head (students £20)
