The Energy Consortium 2013 Conference
The Energy Consortium 2013 Conference
11th Jun 2013 00:00
TEC focuses it's morning session on the changing energy markets at it's 2013 conference
We promised that this year the TEC Conference would be ‘bigger and better’ and with that in mind, we’re delighted to announce that we are changing the format for the day’s events. We don’t want to give too much away all at once, but to whet your appetite; we are delighted to reveal that this year’s morning session will focus on ‘the changing and challenging energy market’. Speakers for this session include Robert Buckley, Director of Cornwall Energy and Andrew Horstead, Head of Energy Markets from energy specialist, Utilyx, who will be delivering presentations on issues which effect us all as we look to manage the ever rising cost of energy to our organisations.
Robert is well known in all areas of the energy markets, including as an independent advisor to the LASER public sector energy-buying organisation. He was recently the lead author of a report for Consumer Focus on competition in non-domestic energy supply and has also written books and reports on the sector.
Andrew has been involved in the energy industry since 1999. In this time he has developed extensive industry knowledge and an understanding of they key drivers influencing energy prices. He has also been lead author on a number of major studies for prominent industry organisations, regulatory bodies and major European gas companies.
The morning will round up with a Q&A session, providing you with the opportunity to ask our panel of experts any burning questions you may have.
The TEC conference is being held at The Town Hall, Birmingham on Tuesday 11th June 2013.
To join us and listen to these, along with a host of other leading energy and Higher Education sector speakers at this year’s TEC conference, please book your place by following the
