How should the education sector in the UK respond to the challenge of climate change?
What are the opportunities to put the sector at the forefront of action around the Paris agreement?
This event will address three cross-cutting themes that are central to delivering a low carbon transition:

Speakers: Lisa Nandy (MP and Shadow Energy Minister) has confirmed. A range of speakers from education and research have also been invited. A full programme will be sent out shortly.
Venue: University of Manchester. J17 Renold Building, which is a 5 minute stroll from the Manchester Piccadilly railway station (
building number 8 on the campus map).

Cost: this is a free event. Lunch will be provided. UCU members will be able to claim travel expenses
