Toolkit for a Sustainable Estate Dissemination Workshops 2010

22nd Sep – 14th Oct 2010 10:09

A new toolkit was launched in April 2010 to provide higher education institutions with the means to manage space more effectively. Efficient space management has been identified as a key element in the drive towards improved financial and environmental sustainability.

The Toolkit for a Sustainable Estate was developed by the Association of University Directors of Estates (AUDE) via the HEFCE Leadership, Governance and Management Fund. The project was additionally supported by the Scottish Funding Council and Higher Education Funding Council for Wales. For more information about this project, including access to the toolkit items, please see website: https://www.aude.ac.uk/info-centre/aude_toolkit_forsustainableestate

A series of six dissemination workshops have been organised for space, finance and environmental practitioners, to provide them with an overview of the new tools and practical hands on experience of using them in a fully supported environment.

These workshops will give attendees the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and expertise to utilise the toolkit items in the most effective way within their own institutions.

Workshop Leaders: Sian Kilner, Kilner Planning, Patrice Muller, London Economics and Rod Mallinder, Rod Mallinder Consulting.
