The University of East London is hosting a conference on Monday 13 September 2010, to promote and celebrate the United Nations International Year of Biodiversity.
This conference is a free event aimed at getting together all those who share common aims and responsibilities for biodiversity. The day will include talks on green roofs, managing public parks and urban species. There will be an opportunity to participate in an open discussion at the end of the programme and share knowledge, ideas and seek the views of specialists in their field.

The conference follows on from a public BioBlitz event at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park on Sunday 12 September, from 10.00am to 9.00pm. Please see the attached poster which provides more information.
