Call for Members to Feed into Evidence on the Government’s Approach to Sustainability
Call for Members to Feed into Evidence on the Government’s Approach to Sustainability
18th August 2015
We are urging Members to respond to this call as an important opportunity for the education sector to ensure sustainability is kept on the Government’s agenda.
The 2015-20 period will be crucial for ensuring the Government continues to promote sustainable development, with many key policies coming to an end and due for renewal or replacement. To ensure sustainability remains on your institution’s agendas we need to push for drivers from the Government.
The EAUC will be responding, on behalf of our Members, but it will be a much stronger message if individual institutions respond as well to show that the education sector takes sustainability seriously.
Responses are required by 2nd September 2015 and you can find out more about the new Environmental Audit Committee first inquiry of the Parliament and call for evidence on the Government’s approach to sustainable development
