13th December 2016

The EAUC is delighted to announce that it is now a partner of UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD).

The UKSSD network supports organisations who are working to advance sustainable development in the UK. Its focus and strategy is informed by the expertise of its partners. UKSSD represents organisations from the UK that span the business, civil society, academic and public spheres, irrespective of their interests, size or location.

This partnership offers EAUC an opportunity to work with UKSSD and its other partners from across various sectors to providing thought leadership on the benefits to the UK from action for sustainable development and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

EAUC Board Member and Associate PVC Sustainability and Engagement at University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Jane Davidson, will lead on EAUC’s involvement and support with UKSDD.

Iain Patton, EAUC CEO, said, “The EAUC exists to ensure its member's voice is heard and is influential.  Knowledgeable and credible, our voice will have even more impact through collaborating with others in the UKSSD network to transform the UK into a sustainable society.’
