EAUC Welcomes New Fellows and Honorary Fellows

4th August 2022

Launched in 2017, the EAUC Fellowship strives to recognise that our members are at the heart of the organisation and their expertise is highly valued within the sector. We created this Award as part of EAUC Strategic Goal No.5 - Stronger Community – improved member engagement and recognition. Through the Award, we aim to better acknowledge and reward exceptional member contribution to the EAUC community while strengthening and deepening the community to become a more powerful movement of engagement, capacity and change.

We recently welcomed numerous new Fellows and Honorary Fellows, rewarding their dedication to the sector and the deepening of partnerships within the EAUC. The Award is also an opportunity for those who are enthusiastic to contribute more closely to our projects, as a means increase the EAUC’s impact on universities and colleges. This new list of individuals reflects the effort of so many who have made the EAUC what it is today, and it is our way of saying 'thank you’.

This year we have a new category of Fellow – Life Honorary Fellow - to recognise those that have contributed to the sector and EAUC but have now retired or left the sector. We are delighted to announce Professor Joy Carter, former Vice Chancellor at University of Winchester and former Climate Commissioner as our inaugural EAUC Life Honorary Fellow.
