EU Fuel Cell subsidy available to UK institutions until late August 2016.

5th July 2016

An EU Enefield grant subsidy has been made available to certain manufacturers of MicroCHP (must be fuel cell) up to the value of £3500 towards installation costs. This is extremely worthwhile to many end users as it could mean installation for effectively no cost. This subsidy can also be used in conjunction with Feed in Tarrifs.

iPower, a social enterprise and  EAUC company member, have successfully provided BlueGen MicroCHP units to a number of educational institutions using this EU funding.
You can read case studies about how this has benefitted institutions such as Edinburgh Napier and find out more about iPower and BlueGen here, or contact alistair.roberts@ipoweruk.com for more info.

The subsidy expires in August 2016.
