Guardian Live Chat: Improving Higher Education's Green Credentials

27th June 2011

On Friday, 24th June, the Guardian hosted a live online chat to discuss what Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) should be doing to improve their 'green credentials' given that more and more students are admitting that sustainability concerns are important to them when choosing which university to attend.

The 'Live Chat' panel was made up of sector organisations including representatives from JISC, People & Planet, EcoCampus, StudentForce for Sustainability, various universities and, of course, the EAUC's own Iain Patton.

There was a wide range of discussion during the 'Live Chat' which included engaging students, embedding sustainability into the curriculum, communication and green ICT.
