Students driving sustainability success

The Board of Trustees now wish to explore the potential of student representation at a governance level. This will ensure the future direction of the organisation will encompass all users of Membership.

We need top a calibre student representative who reflects the diversity of our sector and will provide the expertise and experience our high profile, ambitious charity requires. The Board of Trustees contributes to the development of strategy and oversees its delivery by the CEO and our staff. All applicants will have a passion for and commitment to our Mission.

The Board of Trustees are particularly looking for nominations that have the following:
  • Experience of being on a committee
  • Good understanding of the student experience

  • Passion for sustainability
  • Ability to attend meetings and travel where necessary

  • Must be enrolled as a student at an EAUC Member institution - click here to check you qualify.
  • You are representing student interests and not representing a specific student organisation

The Board of Trustees will review all nominations received and the successful nominee will be invited as a Guest on the Board of Trustees.

The appointment as Guest to the Board will initially be until July 2015. The Board will then review the approach and if successful may choose to either continue as a Guest or Co-opt as a Trustee on the Board. Any Co-opted Trustees will then be presented at the 2016 AGM to be formally voted onto the Board of Trustees by the wider Membership.
