Sustainability Day for Students and Lecturers

An example of good practice in Curriculum from Ecocampus (Belgium)

Every two years, PXL-Tech organises a Sustainability Day.

During this Sustainability Day students and lecturers are given the opportunity to familiarise themselves with all kinds of themes relating to sustainability, including sustainable use of materials, sustainable construction, sustainable living, biodiversity, sustainable nutrition, etc. To that end, lectures and workshops are presented by relevant specialists and a sustainability fair is organised which remains open throughout the event.

At noon a sustainable meal is served for the price of a plat du jour. The Sustainability Day ends with a sustainability café where you can talk in small teams about specific topics relating to sustainability.
