Sustainable development Masters courses in UK Higher Education

A list of current Master courses in Sustainable Development in the UK - thank you to Poppy Villiers-Stuart, University of Brighton, for collating.

There are 22 Masters programmes offering education and training in the area of sustainable development. Some look at sustainable development in a broad sense, in terms of either developing countries or planning and policy making here in the UK (9 in total). Others explore the application of sustainable development principles to the areas of business and management (3), leadership (2), engineering and technology (2), rural development (2), education (1), planning(1) and economics (1). Some courses use mainly traditional learning methods, (lectures and seminars); while others make use of work based and experiential learning.
