A public consultation on HEFCE's 2008 sustainable development action plan HEFCE held three consultation seminars. The seminars followed the same themes and format and included the HEFCE view from a senior management speaker, a keynote institutional speaker, and an open forum discussion drawing on questions raised during breakout sessions.

This consultation contributed to 'Sustainable development in higher education: 2008 update to strategic statement and action plan'.
