The following presentations are taken from the ‘Equipping Students with the Skills for Our Changing World’ conference that was organised by Lancashire Global Education Centre (LGEC) in partnership with the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) and Magnified Learning, with funding from the Department for International Development’s UK Aid programme.

The conference was aimed at the Further Education sector and gave delegates the opportunity to:

• Hear from industry about why an understanding of SD is a vital requirement for future employees

• Hear from an FE leader about how successful ESD can be in college

• Get up to date information about support available to the FE Sector in engaging with this agenda

• Gain practical knowledge in how to embed ESD into vocational courses
