EU Single Market - Public Procurement Guidance

The legislative package of public procurement Directives, approved in 2004 by the European Parliament and the EU's Council of Ministers, aims to help simplify and modernise procurement procedures, for example by facilitating electronic procurement in the public sector.

The SPCE (Sustainable Procurement Centre of Excellence) has now closed. The good practice, guidance and toolkit documents have been migrated to the Higher Education Procurement Academy (HEPA) website so that they remain available to the sector. Key documents are available via this page.
